On day two of our Asilomar meeting, we had an afternoon excursion to the Elkorn Slough in Moss Landing. There, we took a boat tour with the Elkhorn Slough Safari. The amount and diversity of wildlife on display was really amazing. On the way back we made a quick stop at the Pacific Grove Butterfly Sanctuary to check out the Monarch Butterflies.
