As a birthday treat for me, we decided to spend a night in Yosemite NP. The weather had been questionable all week, though it decided to cooperate the two days of our trip- how considerate! We knew it would be cold, though we were still not quite prepared for the reality of it. Next time we'll be bringing along more layers and better shoes for walking on ice! Still, it was beautiful as anticipated, and even better we had many of the prime view points to ourselves, as winter is definitely the low season for the park.
