Although the trip was winding down and we were heading home, we decided to make a few more stops along the way. The first was to Kodachrome Basin State Park. This was by the far the smallest park we visited, though it had many interesting rock formations crammed- there are 67 spires- into that small space! And, as one might guess from the name, the various formations had many interesting hues which set them apart from the surrounding area.
