After previously trying, and failing, to visit the Lick Observatory on Mt Hamilton and continue over to Livermore, we finally worked up the courage to try again. Being the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, I expected lots of traffic on this popular road, but was pleasantly surprised that there was none! A great drive with pretty decent views.
