Took a trip down to Carrizo Plain National Monument to check out the flowers. My visit took place a little before the bloom reached its peak, but still pretty good! It was very windy the first day, which makes flower photography extra challenging. I camped out and enjoyed the clear skies, and then woke the next morning to considerably calmer conditions.
